This web site is dedicated to presenting Snohomish History. This will include family photos, stories, community fables, old time photos, ghost stories and event activities. Snohomish has wonderful history including the famous Blackman House Museum and the Historic Downtown Shopping District.

The Old Snohomish Village which is now closed also had a great collection of antique and historic items. These images were captured in time and are still available for viewing online, they will be included here when this resource is launched.

What's important is the HISTORY not who's delivering it. Some consider historical archives as there own personal library with limited access.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn more about our community with the images, stories and video provided by our local residents themselves. The Historic City of Snohomish has history that runs deep and family relationships are the key to how all the local history interacts with the community.

We have a video tour of the Blackman House Museum, this tour will cause you to run (not walk) to the museum to see it for your self. The Snohomish Historical Society runs the Blackman House Museum and will be releasing its upcoming schedule for tours soon. (hours of operation)

We hope to present a complete historical record online for everyone to enjoy for free, no books to buy and no subscription charges. Just great history in an easy to navigate, easy to read and easy to add to.

Please be patient while we gather the local history, we have already had a great response and we are currently organizing these assets. The complete historical archive will be available for viewing and searching soon. We are anxious to release this Snohomish Historical Archive to the historic Snohomish society and community.

Thank You!
